Dr Maya Lloyd

Dr Maya Lloyd (M Clin Psych, PhD, FCCP, MAPS) is a clinical psychologist with almost 20 years’ experience working with children, adolescents, adults and families across both the public and private sectors.

Maya works with adults experiencing a range of difficulties including anxiety, depression, grief and loss issues, chronic health issues, adjustment difficulties, transitional life changes, stress, and family difficulties along with general health and well-being concerns. Maya enjoys helping people find purpose and direction in life, and strives to help them find happiness and a sense of contentment with their lives.

Maya also works with children, adolescents, parents and families across a broad range of areas including anxiety, depression, grief and loss, self-harm and suicidal ideation, parent-child relationship difficulties, parental separation and blended families. After working as a senior psychologist for Child and Youth Mental Health, Qld Health for 10 years Maya has extensive experience working with families at different stages of life.

Maya also has specialist skills in perinatal and infant mental health, supporting the relationship between a parent and baby. This includes treating parents with antenatal or postnatal depression and anxiety, along with providing parenting support and bonding/attachment between parents with infants and toddlers.

Maya practices a range of therapies which are tailored to suit the individual, including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Acceptance Commitment Therapy, Family Therapy, Triple P and Circle of Security. Maya is also an endorsed supervisor and is accredited to supervise clinical registrars and those completing postgraduate psychology qualifications.

Donna Rose

Donna is a psychologist with over 20 years experience working in perinatal and early childhood psychological health. She has a particular interest in the transition to parenthood and the development of the emotional ties that link parent and childhood wellbeing. She is therefore, deeply committed to working with clients to promote (prospective) parents’ confidence in their own parenting voice, strengthen parent-child relationships and helping families find their unique way to wellbeing and thriving.

Donna has extensive experience delivering psychological care to rural and remote communities and particularly welcomes families from the big heart of Queensland.

Donna consults at Brisbane Family Psychology on a Friday and at other times by Telehealth.
